Service:

The Street Department is responsible for the maintenance of the City’s infrastructure located in the public right-of-way and easements.

• Maintenance of 105 miles of streets
• Storm water systems
• Tree removal in public right-of-way
• Traffic controls – signals, signs and pavement markings
• Snow and ice removal
• Spring and Fall chipper program
• Street Sweeper that sweeps major streets on a weekly basis
• Maintenance of 50 miles of City sidewalks
• Mowing of grass on the city right of way
• Maintains drainage ditches in the City right of way
