Thank you for your interest in our volunteer program. Volunteering is a great experience and allows you to work with like-minded people in a business setting while helping others and the community. Along with the community benefits, our volunteer program is flexible to fit the needs and busy schedules of individuals who want to give back to their community. We are looking for quality people to provide their time, talents and excellent service to our residents.
We are so grateful to all of our volunteers, past and present. Thank you for your time and dedication to Wentzville Parks and Recreation. We could not do what we do without YOU!
For any questions about the program or to apply, please contact Christine Eifert, Special Events & Volunteer Manager, at (636) 332-9236 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The first step is to complete a volunteer application and return via mail, e-mail or fax. Once a completed application has been submitted, we will review and submit your information for a background check. Background checks will be updated on an annual basis. This screening process may also include an interview and reference check. You can anticipate being contacted by the Volunteer Manager within two weeks of your submission to discuss the available volunteer opportunities.
As a thank you to the many volunteers who give us their time and talents, we have updated our Park Bucks’ Incentive Program to better reward our volunteers. All volunteers will earn a Volunteer Wentzville T-shirt after serving 10 hours through the Volunteer Wentzville program. Volunteers will also earn $25 in Park Bucks for every 25 hours you work throughout the year. Park Bucks can only be used for up to 50 percent off a program, class, pass or event (cannot be used on facility rentals). Park Bucks may only be used by the volunteer or individuals in their household. Park Bucks expire one year after date of issue. Those EXTRAORDINARY volunteers who accumulate 100 hours of service in a calendar year will also receive their choice of an Annual Individual Recreation Pass or an Individual Pool Pass to be used the following year.
