On Saturday, Aug. 4 come celebrate the end of summer and a bright new beginning to the school year at the Back to School Bash
at Splash Station Aquatic Center! The Wentzville Parks and Recreation Department has teamed up with the Wentzville Fire Protection District to provide students with a celebration to kick-off the school year. Tickets are FREE and are available at Progress Park or accessible online
. Those who pre-register will be entered for a chance to win one of four Kindle Fire's (must be present to win). *Only 800 tickets available. Pay $5 at the door, if tickets are available.
Celebrate Labor Day at the pool! On Monday, Sept. 3 from 12-6:30 p.m. enjoy games and fun contests at Splash Station Aquatic Center.

Bring your four-legged best friend to Splash Station Aquatic Center on Tuesday, Sept. 4 to enjoy some well-deserved pool time! Each dog will receive a snack and have a chance to win door prizes.
In the event of cancellation due to inclement weather, this event will be made up on Sept. 5 at 5:30 p.m.
Wentzville's Citywide Yard Sale is Friday and Saturday, Sept. 21-22. This is a perfect opportunity to purge those unused items before the seasons change. Just think, you'll have a cleaner house for the holidays! For $6 you can list your sale in our yard sale booklet. You have the option to have a sale one day or two. The deadline to list your sale is Monday, Sept. 17. Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 19, shoppers may purchase a yard sale booklet at City Hall or Progress Park for $2.
Put on your costumes and head over to Station 1 Firehouse on Luetkenhaus Boulevard at 11 a.m. on Oct. 27 for the always popular Family Ghoulish Trunk-or-Treat. Every child (14 and under) will receive their own pumpkin! Families will be able to enjoy games, face painting, activities, the Bubble Bus, and will trunk-or-treat during this two-hour event. All who preregister will receive a hot dog, bag of chips and drink. *Each person must pay to enter; cost on the event day will be $8. (Registration for this event will open for residents on Sept. 1; non-residents Sept. 15)
