Economic Development Strategic Plan

The Economic Development Strategic Plan (EDSP) was written to guide a targeted approach to economic development efforts in the City of Wentzville. This focused approach is designed

to attract and retain specific businesses and industries and promote strategies to optimize economic development opportunities that will benefit the citizens of the community. The City is strategically located for companies needing excellent access for rail, ground and air transportation.

In general, the EDSP is guided by the Vision and Critical Success Factors as defined by Wentzville’s Board of Aldermen. The EDSP will also present the City's economic development strategies through the framework of business attraction, retention and expansion efforts.
